How to Use This Site
ColumbusLife.com was designed for simple and logical navigation. The sections below will explain how to use the navigation menus on ColumbusLife.com.
Top Toolbar
The top row of navigation is your toolbar that provides quick access to: help, contact us
and search. If you need to quickly return to the homepage of ColumbusLife.com, just click
on the Columbus Life logo. If you require assistance, then click the “HELP” button. To
communicate with Columbus Life, click on “CONTACT US” and select a method to communicate
with us that is most convenient to you. If you wish to find information without navigating
and looking for it, then you can enter a phrase in the SEARCH text box and click the arrow.

Main Menu (blue buttons)
The blue row of navigation is called the “Main Menu” and provides access to the major areas of ColumbusLife.com,
and the opportunity to learn more about us. For your convenience, this row will remain at the top of all
pages throughout ColumbusLife.com.

Secondary navigation (gray pull-down menus)
Once you have clicked on one of the blue buttons, the row immediately below will change
to gray and vertically display a menu of subcategories. For example, the “Values & Performance”
button was clicked, resulting in the following subcategories: Prospectuses, Performance Summaries,
and Daily Unit Values. To select these subcategories, make a selection by hovering your mouse over
your choice and click on it...you will be taken directly to that content.

Secondary navigation (left-hand side of page)
In the event that the subcategories displayed in the grey row of navigation can be further broken
down into additional subcategories, then these will be listed in the left-hand area of the page.
For example, the “Daily Unit Values” link was clicked, resulting in the following subcategories:
Pinnacle/Legacy Funds and VUL Funds. To open and close the categories, click the the arrow to left of each category.

Using Quick Links
Pull-down menus have been created for your convenience and placed in the upper right-hand area
of each ColumbusLife.com page. By utilizing these menus you can access the most commonly used
areas of the site with a single click. Just click on the down-arrow, then make a selection by
hovering your mouse over your choice and click on it...you will be taken directly to that content.
