What we collect — and why
At ColumbusLife.com, we're concerned about making the Internet a safe place to learn, interact, and buy goods and services. We understand the importance you place on privacy and want you to know the nature and purpose of the information we collect.
As our Web server transmits content, it also creates a log that records specific information. This includes the Internet address of the computer or server contacting us, the date and time, the referring Web site and its URL, and the visitor's browser and operating system.
We use software to analyze this log, which reveals information such as the most frequently visited areas of our site, the busiest days and times, what links visitors follow to reach us, and what browsers and operating systems they use. (We can't and don't, however, identify individual visitors.) This gives us a much better understanding of our visitors and how they use this site. This also helps us improve ColumbusLife.com for you.
We use server log data in its entirety and do not analyze information on any particular visitor. ColumbusLife.com only uses this information for internal purposes; we don't share it with other companies.
We do not participate in third party services that may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our website or online services.
At this time, we do not respond to browsers “do not track” signals or other mechanisms regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites.
